You can make a baked potato in the microwave oven. They come out really good and taste great. Just buy a bag of potatoes at your supermarket. Put some small cuts in the potato with a knife. Put the potato on a paper towel in the microwave oven. You should have a baked potato setting on the microwave controls. I press this button twice for each potato. It can be done sooner though. If you can put a knife in it and it feels soft, then it is done. Just peel the skin off with a knife or a potato peeler. Use caution. The potato comes out very hot! I have it cut with butter on it. Potatoes have no fat. They have fiber, potassium, and a lot of vitamins and minerals in them.
